The Direct Selling Association (DSA) is
the national trade association of the leading firms that
manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to
consumers. More than 200 companies are members of the
association, including many well-known brand names. The
Association's mission is "To protect, serve and promote the
effectiveness of member companies and the independent business
people they represent. To ensure that the marketing by member
companies of products and/or the direct sales opportunity is
conducted with the highest level of business ethics and service
to consumers." The cornerstone of the Association's
commitment to ethical business practices and consumer service is
its Code of Ethics. Every member company pledges to abide by the
Code's standards and procedures as a condition of admission and
continuing membership in the Association.
 The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations
(WFDSA) is a nongovernmental, voluntary organization that represents the direct selling industry globally. Its membership is composed of national direct selling associations in 53 countries. The U.S. Direct Selling Association serves as the secretariat for the World Federation.  Association of Network Marketing Professionals. was formed to positively impact, serve, educate, standardize, preserve, and unite network marketing associates and those who develop and create businesses within the network marketing community.
Early in 2004 a group of passionate individuals (Rod Cook, Cheryl Gonzalez, Marcie Cook) concerned about the future of the Network Marketing community, came together to form an association. The ANMP (formerly known as the Distributor Rights Association or DRA) focused on establishing standards for the protection of all groups within the Network Marketing community. It also centered efforts on educating both companies and participants of their responsibilities and rights.
The ANMP has organized to prevent among other things: harmful legislation on supplements and proposed business opportunity rules by the FTC. The association has also drafted publications on standards, and has continually provided education for Network Marketing professionals.

 The Multi-Level Marketing International Association (MLMIA), is "The Association for Network Marketing - Worldwide." A professionally managed non-profit trade organization, it is strongly committed to the advancement of the rapidly growing Network Marketing industry. The MLMIA was started in 1985 by industry professionals, for
Network Marketing/Direct Sales/Multi-Level Marketing Companies (Corporate),
the Independent Contractors (Distributors) who sell a Companys goods and
services to the end consumer and the people who supply both the Companies
and Distributors with those goods and services, the suppliers/vendors that
we call (Support). We are the only organization that has as members all
categories that serve our industry (listed above in bold) and the only
Association that gives all an equal vote on its Board of Directors. We feel
that all are important to the survival of what has been termed the last
stronghold of the free enterprise system. Because all sides sit at the table
together in good faith, much has been accomplished. Worldwide there are many
thousands of members. We hope you will become a part of MLMIA and make it
millions.
